A Review of the Lizard by Stikkit

The first thing I noticed about this shoe was its look. I had never seen a design like this one.

After taking in the mysterious rubber flap under the shoe, I focused on its other details. This shoe is truly designed for overhanging and it was on this type of climb that I most appreciated its potential.

I found the adjustability of the toe area perfect. The precision is incredible. One truly feels in perfect control on the holds. This sensation is a little less pronounced when on a vertical surface. The flap under the shoe may create a tension that becomes painful over time. I don't even want to imagine someone using these shoes to face climb or slab.

With respect to hooks, the Lizard has no equal. This shoe allows a good hook for both the toes and the heel. Congratulations on the ribbed heel. I love it!

A word about the X2 rubber. It sticks! One couldn't ask for much more. Very good performance on this point.
